Now is a good time. As a rule after the last frost or a ground temp of 65. You can even plant zinnas from seeds.

    After your last frost date and when the night temps are 68 to 70 degrees.

    I would wait a bit if I were you, here in (hot) west Texas we are suppose to drop back down into the 40 next week. Will it ever end this winter/spring???! Everything is starting to grow by very very slowly.

    I would wait a few more weeks. I live in Vermont and wait until the weekend before memorial day. My mom in New Jersey plants about 2 weeks before that.
