The “Food Not Lawns” attitude towards neighborhoods, I must admit, is infectious. After hanging out with urban and suburban farmers in the last year, we see people watering grass and we gasp. What a waste! CSU encourages and empowers folks to start thinking this way by teaching backyard Gardening and reclaiming un-used urban space for food production.
Best answer:

Answer by Cate A
I would look at HGTV.com first. Then, the sister channel DIY.com is very resourceful too. Good luck!

Question by Z: what would you say are the main DIFFERENCES between planting annuals, perennials, herbaceous plants?
and if you like you can throw deciduous and bare rooted plants in too.
i agree with the answer below. i#m having a really rough time writing an assignment because it has to focus on the “differences between” planting all those varieties!

Best answer:

Answer by Rottie Mom
They all get planted the same way, no differences at all. However — annuals only grow for one season. Herbaceous plants may grow for more than one season. Perennials, deciduous, and bare rooted plants are all expected to grow for many years.
