Computer Screen Freezing – Want to Stop Computer Screen Freezing?

Posted by on June 30, 2010

Computer screen freezing is a very common problem that Windows users have to deal with.  Whether you get the windows blue screen or the computer freezes up it can be quite a pain in the neck.  What’s worse is when you are doing something important and lose that information forever.  No one should have to deal with computer freezes on a regular basis.  And luckily you don’t have to.  But before we get into how to fix computer freezing, it is important to know what causes it.

The first and perhaps easiest way to fix computer screen freezing is use less programs at once.  If you are running ten programs at the same time and your computer freezes up, simply run fewer programs or purchase additional RAM.

But for those of you who aren’t running a lot of programs and still ask “why does my computer freeze up?” then the answer is a little more complicated.  The most likely reason your computer freezes is due to errors and corrupt files in the Windows registry.

The Windows registry is the most important and sensitive area of your computer.  It stores data to run all software and hardware.  Yet the older our computers get the more problems are created in our registries.  In order to keep your computer running fast and error free, you need to clean up registry problems.

Unfortunately there is no internal mechanism to fix the Windows registry.  This is why it is required to install a registry cleaner to do it for you.  Much like bringing a car to the mechanic for a tune up, using a registry cleaner will fix current system problems and provide preventive maintenance against future ones.

There are many different types of registry cleaners out there.  I have found what I consider the best registry cleaner on the market to stop computer screen freezing.  It also has an optimization feature available to speed up your computer significantly.  Try it yourself and scan your computer for free below.

E-machines preloads your XP installation with the same code as 500000 different computers.. what you need to do is click the "CHANGE PRODUCT KEY" button on the activiation key and type in YOUR key. If that doesn’t work, call microsoft to activate your pc.

I’d highly recommend reformatting it and then installing Ubuntu Desktop 9.10 — If all you’re doing is surfing the Internet and writing papers (and perhaps watching videos/movies) you’ll have lot less issues using Ubuntu than you would using your default Windows install…. Especially on a low-end eMachine.
