It's okay to cook with drinking wine, the alchohol will evaporate, and you will be left with the flavor.
References :
Wow, every single person is wrong on this one. Why wouldn't they have conducted a simple google search rather than give the wrong answer??

The alcohol *can* burn off, depending on how long you cooked it, the temperature, and the strength of the alcohol. Here are a summary of the USDA's results on Alcohol Burn Off:

http://www.ochef.com/165.htm

Preparation Method to Percent of Alcohol Retained
alcohol added to boiling liquid & removed from heat 85%
alcohol flamed 75%
no heat, stored overnight 70%
baked, 25 minutes, alcohol not stirred into mixture 45%
baked/simmered, alcohol stirred into mixture:

If you cook it properly the alcohol cooks off, doing this just adds flavor. It is completely safe for you and the children and you won't test postive for it in your blood. The key to to cook the alcohol off. I cook with regular wine that with alcohol and I also make beer bisquits. It is not the same effect as drinking it. Enjoy the flavor, nothing wrong with that
References :
Normally there is dispute and a court verdict is pending. So this means that the car will not be transferred in your name till the title is cleared.
So it is best to steer away from such cars in order to avoid hassles in future.
References :
People stuck with such cars (from banks) and crying.

Apart from the finace aspect of this question, I'd be suspicious of any car which has been the subject of a repo order. If the owner hasn't hed the money to pay for it, how well do you think it has been serviced? And how much care do you think said owner has taken with the car knowing it's going to be repossessed?
I'd leave it, there are thousands of used cars out there.
References :
If the finance company have reposessed it they will want to sell it

1. As quickly as possible

2. At a price which covers costs.(They are not interested in making a profit)

Provided you get something in writing showing that there is no continuing finance on the vehicle you should get it at a good price.
