Is cooking with margarine the same as cooking with butter?
I don’t like using margarine, I like cooking with butter instead. So if a recipe calls for margarine, could you use the same amount of butter, or use more or less of it?
Yes, the same amount, but butter burns easier.
FASHION?????????????????????
I just don’t see why it matter that much.
I like to look nice and get something cute but not designer stuff. We kill animals to look good. We spend 300 dollars on a pair of jeans when you can get perfectly good ones for 60 and have 240 left over. 240 is breakfast, lunch and dinner if you use it right. You could save lives with that 240! INSTEAD you use it for a pair of jeans. So why does it matter if you look good or not. People will think your pretty? So people will be attracted. If someone loves you its the inside that counts. I really … Read the rest
How much education is required to be qualified for Immigration to Canada?
This is in relation to another question I asked.
Under the categories, Provincial Nominee, Skilled Worker, and the new Canadian Experience Class, what is the least amount of education required for Immigration to Canada?
Some people keep saying you need to have at least a 4 year degree or a baccalaureate etc to be qualified, yet the Canada Immigration website says you can qualify with less (2 year diploma, etc). So I’m just curious what should I believe and does anyone else have an idea of what the least amount of education is required?
You can actually qualify with no diploma under provincial nominee. Alberta and BC have semi-skilled options … Read the rest

travel????
i want to travel somewhere with my mom sometime soon. where should we go? i have no clue where to start. we need some place thats not going to cost alot, but is alot of fun!
Find the nearest train station that’s interstate.
Start looking around on the internet for interesting places to see, or stop at. Trains are a hell of a lot cheaper than driving a car, what with gas a parking…
If you want to do international, to EF, www.goaheadtours.com.
They have the best trips, and the best prices hands down.
I’ve traveled with them, and am in the future.

give me three kinds of bacteria that causes diseases
and name me one kind of protist that causes disease and leave links that would be helpfull if you want 10pts
The Centers for Disease Control website has a list of diseases caused by bacteria (fungi are included in this list, so you have to pay attention).
http://www.cdc.gov/nczved/dfbmd/disease_listing.html
Some of the most familiar examples are:
Bacillus anthracis causes anthrax
Clostridium botulinum causes botulism
Vibrio cholerae causes cholera
Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium vivax are two types of protists that cause malaria.

What should I use to clean furniture contaminated by mold that won’t hurt particleboard and wood finishes?
I recently moved all of my furniture that had been in a climate-controlled storage unit for 1 year into my new apartment. My couch grew mold in the storage unit, so I threw it out. The rest of my furniture is primarily particleboard (bookcases, dressers, etc.) and some wood. What should I use to clean this furniture to make sure that there is no mold on it and that won’t destroy the furniture? Thank you!
bleach is about the only thing that kills mold
just have to be careful using it
How to connect home theatre system to DVD and TV to play audio ?
Any ideas as how to connect VCR, Receiver, Equalizer, DVD,TV and Home Theatre System, so each will play audio through speakers.
you must make individual audio connections from each component to the reciever. regular red/white audio for the vcr, digital audio for the dvd player (which will either be fiber optic, or digital coax. it depends on which your dvd has) if you have a cable or satellite box connect the audio for this directly to the reciever as well, (red/white or digital audio, your choice) if you dont have a cable or satellite, your tv should have a red/white output on the back labeled audio out run that to … Read the rest
What kind of specialist careers are there in foreign languages?
I am giving serious thought to a career switch from sales into languages which I had always loved to learn. But I haven’t really known what kind of careers are out there other than using foreign languages to supplement a career and teaching. Which area of foreign anguage that is in real demand right now?
The FBI is always looking for Special Agents who can speak multiple languages. In the military it is a useful skill. You could be a translator for some dignitary or senator or some politician. You could be a language teacher in a high school or college. There are many jobs that you could do for … Read the rest
What are the health benefits of being vegetarian or vegan?
I know there are lots of reasons to cut meat out of your diet. The one I personally find the most reasonable is for your health. I have met several people who have become vegetarian or vegan for "health reasons".
So I’m wondering, what are these health benefits? Is meat not healthy? Why does cutting meat from your diet make you a healthier person?
Just because someone says they are vegetarian or vegan doesn’t necessarily mean that they are healthier. It depends on the protein sources they are eating in place of meat. You can do it right, but most people dont, and I have found that veg eat way … Read the rest
How can i lose weight if dieting and excersising isnt working?
Ive tried so many dieting techniques, some im not proud of, and i can’t seem to lose weight. Im 16 and i do 4 hours of excersise at school a week, and 2 hours out of school.
Help!
Your biggest problem without a doubt is that you’re completely overtraining! By working out 2-3 hrs/day about 5 days a week, you’re body is screaming for precious recovery time and has most likely severely plateaued. Your body absolutely needs quality time to recover from intense workouts and without this, it will simply start shutting down. I highly recommend cutting back on your training and focusing on only 1 hour of intense training … Read the rest
What are the biggest mistakes that newbies to Internet Marketing make?
When a newcomer to promoting a web business or starting a work at home business online begins this venture what are the most common mistakes they make? This would include any business that involves internet marketing but especially the work from home income opportunity type.
The failure to modify, and test.
You MUST, and I do mean MUST… Test your strategies, looking at the results, and then make modifications again and test again.
Also, most people come into the business with the theory, I’m going to start making $10,000 this month. Unless they have a huge budget to start with, it’s not going to happen.
Internet marketing is a game … Read the rest

How many people give pets as a Christmas gift?
I have never felt that giving pets as a "throw away" holiday gift was a very good idea, especially to very young children. They don’t really know how to care for or properly handle a kitten or small puppy. Then after the novelty wears off, the poor animal is often mistreated or neglected, then thrown outside when the coldest part of the winter is settling in to starve or freeze to death. PLEASE – don’t give pets as gifts, especially without consulting parents or guardians!
yeah i agree with you they aren’t gifts they are living creatures and friends for life think about it you don’t stick a person in … Read the rest

Can I get home contents insurance if my landlady works from home?
My landlady teaches piano from home as a full time job, would I be able to get contents insurance? I went to an online insurance site and it said I would have to call them if I share my home with renters/lodgers (which I do) and also it assumes that ‘You do not use your home for any business purposes or for the storage of business goods’. What insurance would I need or would it be my landlady’s responsibility to get cover? Could I be included in her insurance?
The concept of health insurance was proposed in 1694 by Hugh the Elder Chamberlen from the Peter Chamberlen family. In the … Read the rest
What are some recommended books for newbies to gardening?
Especially helpful if they’re about small spaces, herbs, and organic gardening. I have an apartment and I’d like to have a small organic herb and flower garden on my deck, but I’m not sure where to start. Thanks!
Mel Bartholomew’s "square foot gardening" method is really inspiring, and can teach you to fit a lot of plants into a small space. (Here’s the site; there’s also a book: http://www.squarefootgardening.com/)
For nuts and bolts kind of gardening, I like Barbara Damrosch’s Garden Primer (from amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Garden-Primer-Barbara-Damrosch/dp/0894803166).
If you are into preserving foods at all, I really like Mike and Nancy Bubel’s books; the root cellar book has a lot of info … Read the rest
